Sorry about that, you should update the documentation then which implies that macports-dev should be cc'd if a port has no-maintainer.

"9. If your ticket doesn't receive any attention within a few days (for example, because the port you are trying to modify does not have a maintainer), you may email <macports-dev@…> and request a review and/or commit."

FWIW, it must be somehow implied or I wouldn't have done it. IMO, it should be made clearer what to do when a port has no-maintainer.

Thank you for the patch.
For future reference, if a port has no maintainer, you simply leave the Cc field blank. The instructions in the guide seem clear enough to me, but in r131377 I have tweaked them to change "email" to "send an email to", and to remove the unnecessary example parenthetical.
