Description (last modified by larryv (Lawrence Velázquez))

I am trying to install ffmpeg, octave, and others, but get stuck at gmp. Other ports that do not depend on gmp install OK.

$ sudo port clean gmp

Description: modified (diff)

The log contains many lines like this:

:info:build clang: error: couldn't create cache file '/var/folders/x9/9m_vwjy503ld_kr_zh3yhnpr0000gn/T/xcrun_db-Sz0C3xow' (errno=Permission denied)

This is a strange issue that we’ve come across before. Try deleting the /var/folders/x9/9m_vwjy503ld_kr_zh3yhnpr0000gn/T folder, clean gmp, and install again.
