Description
I sent this message, before I found this "ticket form" to this email address: kde-imaging@…
It was not easy for this 74 yr old to start the installation of digiKam into my MacBook Pro. Somehow I managed to start the process when suddenly it stopped. This is the message the installer displayed:

To report a bug, follow the instructions in the guide:
Error: Processing of port digikam failed

=======
I gather the system is complaining Xcode installation is incomplete - I am able to open XCode and it appears it is working OK.
The trouble is perhaps related to the port; I am not sure what I did when I followed that part of the instructions, the terminal was writing lines regarding or about port 1 - I would appreciate more help with that issue.
I don't know what I need to do with the missing java headers.
Could some one please tell me what is it I need to do to overcome these issues.
Thank you for any help on this matter,
