I just tried to update to version 7.1.37 and I see this error:

I'm unable to reproduce the problem in Mac OS X 10.10.3 with up-to-date X11 libraries.

I see the issue on OS X 10.9.5.

I have no access to Mac OS X 10.9.5. Hopefully the developer of SWI-Prolog would be able to help.

Please check whether this is still a problem with 7.5.0. (It built successfully on our buildbot.)
