Description
Hello! Problem: When I use command
sudo port selfupdate
I get:
$ sudo port -v selfupdate Password: ---> Updating MacPorts base sources using rsync receiving file list ... done base.tar
And there is no another actions on the screen. I am waiting for an hour but nothing happens. Please help!

selfupdate uses rsync. Do you usually have problem accessing rsync servers on your network? Some networks block rsync traffic. As a workaround, you can download the MacPorts 2.3.3 installer from our web site and install it. Then, to sync your ports, you could switch to using a daily tarball or a checkout from our repository, as those methods wouldn't use rsync. See wiki:FAQ#selfupdatefails.
