Just noticed that project homepage has moved to github us well, hence the second patch.

The revision line should be deleted because it starts at 0 when increasing the version and that is the default value.

This ticket supersedes #47475.
For projects hosted at github, the github 1.0 portgroup should be used. Unless there is a good reason to do so, one should not fetch from the git repository, but should instead use the default mode of operation of the github portgroup, which is to fetch from an automatically generated tarball, or even better, a release tarball, if the project provides one (which encfs does), by using "github.tarball_from releases". All available options are documented in comments in the github portgroup's source code.
Since the maintainer has not responded to this ticket, I'll try to work on it.
