Updated Portfile for newest stable version of ndcctools
comment:2 Changed 9 years ago by pivie@…
I think you have a good point. The versions listed on the website are probably more accurate than the ones on github. In fact I have attached an updated Portfile that skips github entirely and uses 4.4.2 from our official site. We are currently discussing the best way to adjust our development workflow to keep track of these kinds of things. Thanks for pointing out a newer version.

Replying to ryandesign@…:
You've set this portfile up to download version 4.3.4 (released April 2, 2015) from github, but it looks like version 4.4.2 (released May 14, 2015) is available from the project's web site. Shouldn't we use that instead? That page lists 4.4.2 as the latest stable version, and lists 4.2.2 as the previous stable version, and does not list 4.3.4 at all, making me think it might be a development version.
I think have addressed your concerns. I have uploaded a new Portfile which uses the most recent version of our software. I also added a few dependencies which are needed for various parts of the software.
Thank you for reviewing this submission, and please let me know if there is anything else I need to change in order for this new port to be approved.

Did this get renamed to cctools? If you want to update the Portfile, I'll commit it for you

As far as I know, ndcctools has nothing to do with cctools.

OK I see now - to avoid conflict with cctools port, they named this port ndcctools.
