I've seen several github projects now that have their release tarballs in a directory under archive
. The attached patch adds this category to github.tarball_from
.
PS: it'd be nice if PortGroups had a maintainer statement somewhere in their preamble comments.

Portgroups don’t have maintainers.
Evidently not in a way that shows up to end-users, but IMVHO it'd make a lot of sense to encourage PortGroup authors to leave their signature in a standardised way.
