Description (last modified by ryandesign (Ryan Carsten Schmidt))
Though #47729 apparently could resolve #47241, I still cannot build clang-3.7 @3.7-r241984
on 10.6.8 issuing a similar error:

hm... I tried to build, and succeeded on leopard and snow leopard.

Should I believe in miracles? Building works now! Maybe it has been decisive to use the --all switch when cleaning all installed ports before doing the clang-3.7
install?
$ sudo port -f clean --all installed $ sudo port install clang-3.7 ---> Computing dependencies for clang-3.7 ---> Fetching archive for clang-3.7 ---> Attempting to fetch clang-3.7-3.7-r241984_0+analyzer+assertions.darwin_10.x86_64.tbz2 from http://nue.de.packages.macports.org/macports/packages/clang-3.7 ---> Attempting to fetch clang-3.7-3.7-r241984_0+analyzer+assertions.darwin_10.x86_64.tbz2 from http://lil.fr.packages.macports.org/clang-3.7 ---> Attempting to fetch clang-3.7-3.7-r241984_0+analyzer+assertions.darwin_10.x86_64.tbz2 from http://mse.uk.packages.macports.org/sites/packages.macports.org/clang-3.7 ---> Fetching distfiles for clang-3.7 ---> Verifying checksums for clang-3.7 ---> Extracting clang-3.7 ---> Applying patches to clang-3.7 ---> Configuring clang-3.7 ---> Building clang-3.7 ---> Staging clang-3.7 into destroot ---> Installing clang-3.7 @3.7-r241984_0+analyzer+assertions ---> Activating clang-3.7 @3.7-r241984_0+analyzer+assertions ---> Cleaning clang-3.7 ---> Updating database of binaries ---> Scanning binaries for linking errors ---> No broken files found.
Sorry for the confusion. But I swear, before this last attempt I have always called a sudo port clean clang-3.7
, and sometimes also a general cleaning like I did today.
