mpv@osx10.5.8 - org.macports.build for port rubberband returned - command execution failed.

hello ,

i would like to use mpv on osx leopard for watching videos. i need that because it is the only one that plays stable ​https:// streams as far i know.

when building "mpv" after i while i encur this error

The Milestone field is for use by Macports team members only, please do not set it.

In the future, please use WikiFormatting, fill in the Port field and Cc the port maintainers (port info --maintainers rubberband), if any.

Note that a "request" ticket type is only for requesting a new port.

mpv is only supported on 10.8+ anyway. It will not work on 10.5.

We do have binaries built by the buildbot for 10.6 and later. Could you let me know where you found the information that it is only supported on 10.8 and later?

Oh wait, you waid mpv. I was looking at binaries for rubberband.

There may even be binaries for mpv on 10.6 and 10.7, but they do not work for anything video-related. Audio playback should work, but video output probably doesn't, unless using the X11 output.

rubberband should be supported on 10.6+ (and maybe even 10.5) on x86 and x86_64, but not on ppc or ppc64 due to it using SSE2, an x86-family-only CPU feature.
