vala 0.30.0 fails to build on Lion

Description

Upgrading vala from 0.28.1 to 0.30.0 on Lion fails to build. I have cleaned the vala port and tried to upgrade again to version 0.30.0. Still fails to build. See attached log.

The log says: 

:info:configure dyld: Library not loaded: /opt/local/lib/libncurses.5.dylib
:info:configure   Referenced from: /opt/local/lib/libreadline.6.dylib

You need to upgrade readline first. See ProblemHotlist#ncurses6.
