#49141 (py-pymysql) claims to be pure python and does not use mysql libs. It does not look like this ports mysql variants are doing anything useful and should be removed.

Dependencies committed.

I removed the mysql variants and installed mycli locally. I experienced no problems connecting to mysql55, mysql56 and mariadb-10.1.

xeron.oskom: I removed the mysql variants. Reopen this ticket if you think this was a bad decision.

@pixilla you're right, it's not needed. I probably was confused by pgcli which uses psycopg2 and requires libpq.

I'm not sure about categories btw. May be it should be in databases category and use python as additional one.
