Can we these to ports? There are not python27 equivalents around, but I guess that is acceptable in this case.

Yes, these can be removed. I don't need them any more.

Do we need an update path here or are these port just too old to be still used by users?

Qt3 probably doesn't even build on the newer Mac OS X releases, which means the py*pyqt3 don't build either. We could just rename them to py27* and leave it at that, for people on old OSes.

Just checking what happens on OS X 10.10.
We also could try to replace by py27-pyqt4, however, this would imply to remove (replace_by) qt3-mac as well, and there are still some dependencies:
- k3dsurf
- py26-pyqt3 (to be removed)
- qtc-qtsharp
- qtsharp
- wap11gui

Qt3 and pyqt3 are not API and ABI compatible with Qt4 and pyqt4. So we could delete them all or probably easier is to replace py26* with py27* and leave it at that.

Looks like at the moment qt3-mac cannot be fetched anyway, so it so probably broken for all OS X versions. If there are no tickets around for this, there are probably non users left for this part of the ports tree.

Do not really remember why this was kept open. Closing!
Blair, can these be removed? Are you still interested in maintaining these ports?
