You showed that a port build failed. Port builds do not use environment variables that you set on the command line, so exporting PYTHONPATH cannot have fixed this.

The reporter says the problem is solved, and I haven't been able to reproduce with 1.8.10, which additionally uses a completely different build system. This is unlikely to still apply.
