bind.sh should reside in the files directory (darwinports/dports/net/bind9/files/) rather than the bind9 directory itself...

excellent, everything appears ready to go -- did you want this port called bind or bind9?

Since bind9 is the release name of bind by ISC, I think it should be the package name. And bind9 is a little different from earlier version, so...
