Description
A couple of header files try to #include <tr1/functional>, which is not found. Configure checks beforehand "for TR1 support… no" but continues anyway.

You shouldn't have even gotten this far: you should've seen the same problem with rtorrent's dependency libtorrent already; see #41417. Note: the suggestion in that ticket to use a MacPorts gcc compiler is not recommended. Instead the port should be updated to a version compatible with Mavericks and later.
Somehow I have libtorrent @0.13.2_0 (active), and I know I didn’t do any special workarounds.
