It would be good to commit this update at the same time as

#49677

To avoid multiple rebuilds for those using the xrootd variant.

can you direct me more precisely to whatever it is that is going wrong ? (I find navigating these build reports highly frustrating...)

All I see is

That's probably because of -Werror.

OK, so the error is in the build step even though that step is not flagged as having failed ??
