Description (last modified by ryandesign (Ryan Carsten Schmidt))
Trying to launch the latest version (nmap @7.00) of zenmap under El Capitan I get this error message...
Error creating the per-user configuration directory There was an error creating the directory u'/Users/fred/.zenmap' or one of the files in it. The directory is created by copying the contents of '/opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/share/zenmap/config'. The specific error was "[Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/share/zenmap/config'" Zenmap needs to create this directory to store information such as the list of scan profiles. Check for access to the directory and try again.'''
The directory /Users/fred/.zenmap already exists with contents that appear to be from the previous version. Looking in /opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/share/zenmap/ there is nothing named config. The zenmap directory is empty. So obviously nothing to copy!

7.01 fixes some zenmap launch issues, can you see if you can reproduce this with that version?

Unfortunately I get the same error message when trying to run the latest version - nmap @7.01
