Component: | ports | Version: | 2.3.4 |

Port: | xfce |
Description
XFCE fails to build because of SIP conflicts using /usr. Disable SIP to continue http://osxdaily.com/2015/10/05/disable-rootless-system-integrity-protection-mac-os-x/
we may also modify the port to not use /usr. These changes cannot be done on a running system so macports cannot do the task.

The message is gone sorry but in essence it said Unable to activate (one of the later ports) /usr permission denied
I'll spelunk around the logs and post if I find it still somewhere.

Could you show the exact error message you got? We do not want to encourage users to disable SIP.
