Requesting changes in attached patch.
Summary:
- updated download and livecheck URLs with those from the net/transmission port
- GTK frontend as a (default) variant
- dependency changes: +miniupnpc -gsed

I'll see about testing this - what do you get with -gtk? If it is not usable, there's no reason to have it. And I'm not sure what +aqua does.

I wonder if these 2 ports should be combined - appears to be overlap

That would be nice and tidy, but the transmission port focuses on building a modern OSX application. Right now transmission-x11 builds in the more generic POSIX environment without packaging the Mac app. Hence, transmission-x11 works on Leopard/ppc while transmission will not. I looked at it, but combining the ports was beyond my confidence.
