The patch doesn't apply cleanly - also perhaps we want to wait on changing master_sites until we know they won't revert that and/or the old way doesn't work...

Sorry for the unclean patch, I was working on my local copy of the Portfile and I didn't notice that in the last update some additional changes were introduced with respect to my original patch (see #50136 and r143906).
I replaced the patch, now it applies cleanly.
Please, this time do not delete the MD5 checksum: it is the only one provided by upstream, and anyway it doesn't hurt to have it in addition to the others.
Please apply the patch even if the master_sites issue has not settled down: users of Frescobaldi (see #51219) have already requested for the update.
