Follow the error message and install fftw-3 +gcc5. libemos needs the fortran interface of fftw-3, which is not installed by default. You could install libemos +gcc5, which should invoke installation of fftw-3 +gcc5. In fact +gcc5 is in default_variants of libemos. There is a difference between variants in default_variants and user supplied variants. We had a lengthy discussions in the developer mailing list on my suggestion to treat both variants equally, but we could not agree to adopt my suggestion. So we have to do this manually.
