Added the complete log from this morning after a self update and clean. It says julia violates ports-filesystem !

Interesting. This might be a bug related to not installing into /opt/local
. Unfortunately, I'll be traveling starting tomorrow for two weeks so I don't know if I'll have time to look at it but I'll try.

I have the same problem, and I have also linked /opt/local to another drive, /Volumes/MacPorts.

What is the file system on /Volumes/Cluster
? Is it a network share - what protocol if so?

I hope this is fixed with the newest update to julia. If not, please retry, post the build log, and let me know :-)
Thanks for the report. I'll have to dig into this some more to figure it out.
