Port: mcabber

Description

Hello !

I installed (it was a clean install) today MacPorts (MacPorts-2.3.4-10.12-Sierra) on macOS Sierra 10.12. I had no problem to install mcabber.

After launching and connecting

[23:06:04] Connecting to server
[23:06:04] with resource mcabber.df9d18ff

I got the following error.

dyld: lazy symbol binding failed: Symbol not found: _gnutls_certificate_type_set_priority
                                                                                           Referenced from: /opt/local/lib/libloudmouth-1.0.dylib
            Expected in: flat namespace

                                       dyld: Symbol not found: _gnutls_certificate_type_set_priority
                                                                                                      Referenced from: /opt/local/lib/libloudmouth-1.0.dylib
                       Expected in: flat namespace

                                                  Abort trap: 6

I also tried to connect without TLS / SSL with the same result. The used Jabber services works without problems on a recent version of mcabber on a OpenBSD box (using TLS).

I saw, that the port is outdated.

Thanks.

Thanks - can you update your ports and see if 1.0.3 fixed your issue?

Thanks for the fast answer. The upgrade worked without problems but the error is still the same. I am not sure but IIRC there was a similar error in the past (maybe I am wrong).

With which other informations I could help ?

I'll try to see if I can test it w/ a server
