Mark, the git version compiles fine with clang with openmp! The relevant patch is here: https://git.skewed.de/count0/graph-tool/commit/503ec869a325b36adeb1ba1756a3d46a13396d9c
But I'm not sure it will apply cleanly to 2.18.

It does not. Are you planning a new release anytime soon?

Yes I am. I'm very busy atm, but I hope to have something ready around next weekend (but I cannot promise).
I would suggest bumping to 2.18 in any case, since there are some major improvements there already. A 2.19 with openmp for clang will not take too long.

There is a bug in clang (https://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=28523) that causes compilation errors in the latest version of graph-tool. See also the discussion here: https://git.skewed.de/count0/graph-tool/issues/317. You can either have 2.16 with OpenMP enabled or 2.18 without OpenMP. I decided that the 2.16 + OpenMP is better for now. However, I'd welcome patches that work around the clang bug.
