Update port to most recent version, which is v.2.8.0. Maybe take #53486 into account as well.

Not really trivial until you notice that this only builds if you actually set a deployment target. The sparkle removal is quite simple, though. Just delete everything that mentions Sparkle in the Xcode project file. The GUI will automatically disable the search for update button then.

the sparkle patch will need to be redone, unfortunately. The rest of the update was trivial.
