#54762 closed enhancement (fixed)
ssh-copy-id should be a subport of openssh

Description
ssh-copy-id uses the same distfile as openssh. This situation is the reason why the subport feature was invented. Making ssh-copy-id a subport of the openssh port would ensure that the two are always updated to the latest version at the same time.
Probably should first update openssh to the same version as ssh-copy-id; that's #53108.

I'd like to have the latest version of
ssh-copy-id
installed but update of theopenssh
port have stalled for a long time. This might also happen in the future sinceopenssh
have no maintainer and a lot of patches.Edit:
ssh-copy-id
is actually the same in 7.3p1 and 7.5p1 and subport can have different version/checksums.
