Description
WebKitGTK+ 2.16 introduces a series of *_ephemeral APIs [1][2], which is used in a course-material-fetching tool used in my campus [3]. Bumping to 2.16.x is great, and the latest stable version 2.18.0 is even better. Thanks for any further inputs.

I tried a quick version update a couple of weeks ago and got nowhere. But webkit2-gtk-devel is great and appears solid.

Nope. I gave up playing perpetual "fix upstream build failures on every release" with WebKit ... if someone wants to take over with that effort, by all means, submit a PR or take over as maintainer. As it is, I don't plan on updating versions any more as it's not worth the investment for me given the difficulties with upstream.
