When running sudo /opt/local/bin/certbot renew I also got an error because python/py-funcsigs was not found:
File "/opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/lib/python2.7/site-packages/pkg_resources/__init__.py", line 867, in resolve raise DistributionNotFound(req, requirers) pkg_resources.DistributionNotFound: The 'funcsigs>=1' distribution was not found and is required by mock
Manually installing
sudo port install py27-funcsigs
solved the problem.

What version of py27-acme do you have installed?
Note: See
TracTickets for help on using
tickets.
py-funcsigs is a dependency of py-acme, which is a direct dependency of certbot, see
port rdeps certbot
