I have tried to upgrade the Portfile (see attached
Portfile.20170716
). However, I am observing graphical problems in the GTK3-based GUI: All icons on the buttons are missing if onlyport:bicolor-icon-theme
is installed. Installinggnome-themes-standard
improves the situation somewhat, but the GUI is still ugly due to the missing icons. Interestingly, the+gtk2
variant of the previous version 20160605 didn't have that problem. However, I also observed the same missing icons problem with the+gtk3
variant. See the attached screenshots for an illustration of the problem.I have contacted upstream regarding the problem. However, if I remember correctly, he is using Linux rather than macOS. Therefore, it might be difficult for him to reproduce the problem. There is also the possibility that it is a problem proper to the MacPorts' version of GTK3. Any ideas? I am lacking experience with GTK3 GUI programming and don't have much time to dig into this. So any help would be welcome!
