It looks like iperf has been deprecated upstream. Please install iperf3.

iperf 2 is still being actively developed, and I would also like it reinstated, because iperf 3 doesn't support some important features of iperf 2. The new website is here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/iperf2/
2.0.10 is the latest release.

As the original issue was indirectly resolved, the title and previous work on this ticket is different from the request for a continued iperf2 port. Please open a new ticket to request (or even better to submit) a port for iperf2.
