Description
I recently upgraded to High Sierra and cannot build glib2 with/without variants. I have tried cleaning it and rebuilding, but nothing seems to work. I've attached the build log.

Summary: | glib2-2.54.1 and High Sierra → glib2 @2.54.1 and High Sierra |
The log shows you are using clang 800.0.42.1, which is from Xcode 8.2.1. macOS High Sierra requires Xcode 9 or later, so please upgrade. Make sure to also upgrade the command line tools to an equivalent version.

Thanks for the help - this was bizarre as I did install Xcode 9, but for some reason the version on my system shows 8.1. I did not get the option to update it either when going into the app store. I'm manually downloading it now.

Make sure you install both Xcode 9 and the corresponding Command Line Tools.
