ffmpeg @3.4: ERROR: audiotoolbox requested but not found

The configure step failed; the build log is attached, but the failing command is:

Had the same problem. It was solved after updating Xcode to Version 9.1.

That worked for me too! Annoyingly, the App Store hadn't told me that Xcode could be updated in the "Updates" window, so I hadn't realised that this was out of date; I had to manually go to the Xcode app in the App Store to update it.
