Description
demeter 0.9.26 is available.
$ port livecheck demeter demeter-devel demeter seems to have been updated (port version: 0.9.25, new version: 0.9.26) demeter-devel seems to have been updated (port version: 0.9.25, new version: 0.9.26)
demeter and demeter-devel should be updated to that version. I tried simply updating the version
and checksums
, but it failed to build.

Ryan: finally, FINALLY, I have managed to get Demeter version 0.9.26 to build. I am persistent, but not usually this persistent.
It required a source patch, which I will share with the developer. Perhaps it can be incorporated in his next release. But for now, we have to distribute a patch in MacPorts. So I am going to attach TWO patches. One updates our Portfile. One goes in files. Also, two out-of-date patches are there. So I propose:
- Patch the port file with
demeter.diff
- Add the file
patch-build-darwin-fix.diff
to directory files/ - Remove the other patches
patch-DocBuilder-*.pm.diff
from files/, because they are no longer needed.

Source patch. (Add this to the demeter/files directory)

Thanks! What email address of yours should I attribute this update to when I commit it—the GMail address shown here in Trac, or the NIST address listed in the Portfile?

Hmm. Either is fine. How about the NIST one from the Portfile.

I removed the revision 4
line that had been left in the Portfile. I added revision 0
lines since we are moving toward always listing a revision, even when it is 0. I moved the checksums up near the version to match our new style as well.
Yes, it's true that version 0.9.26 is available, but I have not been able to make them build, either.
I have a question in to the Demeter developer, but he hasn't got back to me yet. Anyway, I am working on the problem. The problem appears to have to do with Perl, which I know nothing about. (That might make me a bad choice to be the Demeter maintainer, but that's a different story.)
