I just noticed that eight months passed without a maintainer opinion on:
https://github.com/macports/macports-ports/pull/690
I suspect this means the port should be changed to "nomaintainer"

I'll send a pull request soon to update the maintainers line to add my github username and mark it openmaintainer, because I'm happy for other people to submit (tested) changes like the one referenced.

I'm here. It sounded on that issue like other commenters already had responded appropriately and the issue was blocked on a large-scale change in issue #1628, so I didn't chime in.
