Description

Instead of MacPorts' gnupg2, I use GPG Suite (​https://gpgtools.org).

It would be nice if there was a variant not depending on gnupg2.

In 71fdff7767683999e2a4f75d2ffc7f43c66d41c4/macports-ports (master):

pass: Add external_gpg variant

As the maintainer of this port, I don't know anything about the version
of GnuPG outside of MacPorts. The user might have a too old or
non-working version of GnuPG installed. Therefore, this variant may
satisfy those who do not want to install the gnupg port, since they
already have the GPG Suite.
