Description
OS X 10.11.6 (El Capitan)
gtk-engines2 fails to install with fatal configuration error.
I did "port selfupdate" and "port upgrade outdated" and it still won't build.
I found a little similar problem (while not strictly) with ticket #56167 issued 4 months ago with no concrete answer yet.
I also see that there is no maintainer assigned to this port which is mandatory to build some native .app for OS X like inkscape.
It seems it is a fatal error in the configure phase so I join the main.log and config.log files.
Any clue or workaround appreciated

Actually, it looks exactly the same as #56167.
