Description
Libtorrent failed to build properly on OS X High Sierra using a freshly installed and upgraded MacPorts installation. Included below is a copy of the output log from the attempted build.

Unfortunately this port is not compatible with Mavericks or later right now.

Ryan, Thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately, the macports ticket tracking system didn't reveal the dupe entry to me. This site needs a major overhaul to be more appropriately accessible to the blind developer on a Mac using Safari.
In any case, it is a major disappointment to find out that LibTorrent has been broken since Mavericks. So, this may sound a bit like a terse (and probably very obtuse) question on my part: why has it not been removed from the active tree until the breakage is fixed? In point of fact, exactly what is causing the breakage?
Anyway, thanks again for the heads up. guess I will install a linux VM and acquire the sources there and buil for myself.
