Description 

ntp-4.2.8p12 was released on 14 August 2018.
It addresses 1 low-/medium-severity security issue in ntpd, 1 low-severity vulnerability in ntpq and ntpdc,
and provides 27 other non-security fixes and 4 improvements over 4.2.8p11.

Thanks, I haven't received the email release notification yet :(

Looks like a simple version bump doesn't build: 

Undefined symbols for architecture x86_64:
  "_set_user_group_ids", referenced from:
      _send_blocking_req_internal in libntp.a(work_fork.o)

Patches always welcome, otherwise I'll look at this some more as soon as I get some free time.

Added a patch and updated the port. (Upstream bug report ​http://bugs.ntp.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3529 )
