g95 @0.93: install error on Mac OS X 10.14 Mojave
summary: I have attempted to install g95, however it terminates with an error during the "Configuring g95" step. Please see attached log file.
Steps taken:
- installed xcode 10, agreed to license, and ran the "xcode-select --install" line.
- installed latest version of macports.
- installed gcc8 with no apparent problems.
- attempted to clean g95 after failed installation, ran port selfupdate, and attempted to install g95 again. Problem persists.
- attempted to uninstall, clean, and reinstall gcc8 and then g95. Problem persists.
note:The OS installation was Mojave prior to installation of any MacPorts or XCode product.
note2: I read on the g95 web page that gcc versions greater than 4.X are not guaranteed to work. I tried installing this version of gcc, but it says that it is incompatible with XCode versions >= 9.
