Description

Build fails with: 

:info:build grep: /usr/X11/lib/libXpm.la: No such file or directory
:info:build sed: /usr/X11/lib/libXpm.la: No such file or directory
:info:build libtool:   error: '/usr/X11/lib/libXpm.la' is not a valid libtool archive
:info:build make[3]: *** [libgvplugin_gd.la] Error 1
:info:build make[3]: Leaving directory `/opt/local/var/macports/build/

See attached log file.

I don't know why it's looking for files in /usr/X11/. That directory did not exist on my machine.

I've since installed X11 to see if that would make any difference, but the build still fails in the same way.

False alarm. The problem was caused by outdated files in /opt/local/lib/ and resolved per the instructions at #21464

Sorry for the noise.
