The quick Portfile is based on mysql57
. However, the build fails, as there is an issue with boost
:
sql/gis/area_functor.h
causes an error: area_functor.h:45:36: error: too few template arguments for class template

Bradley hasn't been very active in MacPorts lately, so the MySQL ports have been a bit neglected. If you or someone else can submit a pull request for this new port (or for updates to any of the existing MySQL ports) that will expedite getting those changes into MacPorts.
