Resolution: invalid
Status: newclosed

Remove /usr/local/lib/libintl.a and anything else you have in /usr/local. See wiki:FAQ#usrlocal.

Yes, I have a lot of stuff in there. Despite all the junk, and the fact that I have been using ports for many years, his is the first time (AFAIK) that I have run into this :( BTW. I used -t switch and it seemed to work.
