Whatever message is supposed to be there is clearly missing. My guess is that the message should have to do with TESSDATA_PREFIX as I found upon upgrading from tesseract @3.05.02_0 to @4.0.0_0 I found that tesseract was no long able to find its language files. After some investigation, I discovered that I had previously manually set TESSDATA_PREFIX in my .bash_profile to /opt/local/share/ (back in April 2018). This alteration is no longer necessary. Language data (located in /opt/local/share/tessdata) is now found by tesseract without the need to set TESSDATA_PREFIX. I would assume, therefore, that the appropriate message would be to tell those upgrading to remove the TESSDATA_PREFIX setting (new users don't need to do anything).
