Description (last modified by mf2k (Frank Schima))
In order to install encfs, osxfuse has to be installed. Any attempt to build osxfuse fails and shows the following output:

There are two main differences compared to ticket 54781:
- The error messages are not the same ones
- The version of osxfuse is 3.8.3 (ticket 54781 regards osxfuse version 3.6.3)

I was about to file an issue and then found this. I'm having the same issue on 10.11 (El Capitan). Is this going to be fixed or is there something blocking the fix?
Thanks! :-)

Replying to eplov:

Yes they are.
- The version of osxfuse is 3.8.3 (ticket 54781 regards osxfuse version 3.6.3)
Since upstream does not regard it as a bug, it will continue to affect all future versions of osxfuse as well.
As is explained in #54781, Xcode 8 cannot build osxfuse on El Capitan. You need Xcode 7, or Xcode 8 with the 10.11 SDK copied from Xcode 7.
