OK -- you're not getting the gawk
error any longer, at least. This error you're seeing now is kinda weird:

And off the top of my head, I don't really get what is happening to you here.
Don't forget to always clean between build attempts. othewise you're just wasting your time on the subsequent ones.
I will ponder it further. Maybe somebody knows...
BTW, your actual error is not building inkscape
just yet -- you're still trying to build libpng
comment:11 Changed 5 years ago by kencu (Ken)
So I can build libpng
with no trouble at all on Mojave
. Let's just try that.
sudo port clean inkscape sudo port clean libpng sudo port -v install libpng
and see where you get with that.
comment:12 Changed 5 years ago by kencu (Ken)
please show me which variety of cctools
you have installed:
port -v installed cctools

The following ports are currently installed:
cctools @895_4+llvm50 (active) platform='darwin 17' archs='x86_64' date='2018-07-19T00:43:35-0400'

OK, I think I see your issue. Somehow your version of cctools
is not the right version for Mojave
. It's both too old, and the wrong variant, and installed for the wrong operating system (darwin 17 instead of 18).
I think you need to start fresh, and follow these instructions <https://trac.macports.org/wiki/Migration> or you'll never get this set up right.
comment:16 Changed 5 years ago by kencu (Ken)
Please report back when you've done that -- I have a feeling that should get you straightened out!
comment:17 Changed 5 years ago by justinMBullard (Justin Bullard)
Fixing the cctools did work. Thank you.
