MacVim patch fails on Yosemite

I am unable to build MacVim on Yosemite (log is attached). It does not go as far as building, it fails at applying patches. The error message says that XCode 8 is required, but XCode 8 is not compatible with Yosemite.

Maybe this has been fixed with any later snapshot. macOS 10.10 Yosemite is quite old and no longer supported anyway.
