Version 2.42.2 is out and there is a nice URL: https://gitlab.com/graphviz/graphviz/-/archive/2.42.2/graphviz-2.42.2.tar.bz2. I got that link from https://gitlab.com/graphviz/graphviz/-/tags.

Yeah. Since Graphviz moved away from its former home at AT&T research 2 years ago, the project has seemed to be in a bit of disarray. There has not been a new version released since then and I haven't really updated the portfiles since then. I don't want to switch to an unversioned distfile, for the usual reasons. It's not really a problem that the upstream file is no longer at its original URL; that's why we have mirror servers.
