Description
Hi,
as per title, pymol @2.3.0 (default variant) on Mojave segfaults when run:
Segmentation fault: 11
I think it's Qt related, as it works perfectly when running it with the old Tk GUI (pymol -N pmg_tk
)
I tried uninstalling, cleaning and reinstalling and nothing changed. Maybe I should try reinstalling some of the Qt packages?
I'm attaching the crash report

I don't see this on Mojave 10.14.6 when running pymol-2.3.0_0+python27.darwin_18.x86_64.tbz2 built back on Oct 16 2019 against the qt5 5.12.5 components built the same day.
Updating to the newest packages which include pymol 2.4.0 and qt5 5.14.2 also runs pymol fine under the new default python 3.8.

current version of PyMOL is 2.5 and it is running smoothly on both Mojave and Catalina. Please update to the latest version and try again; if the problem persists feel free to reopen this ticket
