We need to fix this. We can't have distfile mirroring jobs failing all the time due to this problem. It makes it much less likely that we will notice the mirror jobs that are failing for other legitimate reasons that need to be investigated and fixed.
So the problem is happening because you're causing certain subports to exist only on certain OS versions. I don't think any other ports behave that way, and the mirroring script did not anticipate that that situation would arise. Either we need to modify the mirroring script to accommodate that situation, or the port should change to behave like other ports, issuing an error message if the user tries to install the port on an unsupported OS version.

You can set known_fail yes
in the subports when they won't work to stop the buildbot from trying to build them. They need to exist for the mirror job to work though.

These are from the adjustments done to make versions only available where they can build.
Let me know if there is some more appropriate way to do this.
